The Gender, Women and Civil Society Department of the African Development Bank Group holds the third installment of the Fashionomics Africa Webinar Series on Friday, November 13, 2020.
The “fast fashion” paradigm makes way for more sustainable and environmentally friendly value chains, driven by technological advances and digital economy instruments. The webinar, with the theme Technology at the Center of Tomorrow’s Fashion, will examine these developments and the promising alliance between fashion and technology in both pre- and post-COVID-19 contexts.
Panelists will identify innovations created by the onset of the pandemic, and share insights on emerging solutions, including artificial intelligence, to develop a sustainable and viable fashion industry on the continent. The range consists of fashion designers, entrepreneurs and other industry experts.
Participants can expect to gain greater knowledge of innovative business models that can benefit their business.
