Africa reports more than 1,577,213 stories of COVID-19

As of 08 November, the confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached 1 870 224. The reported deaths in Africa reached 44,845 and 1,577,213 recovery cases.

South Africa has the most cases – 734 906, with deaths 19 789. Other countries most affected include Morocco (252 185), Egypt (108 692), Ethiopia (99 201), Tunisia (69 543) and Libya (67,039) in.

The numbers are compiled by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University (world map) uses statistics from the World Health Organization and other international institutions as well as national and regional public health divisions.
