How did Trump get this far?

Miami – Believing that Biden’s triumph is the end of the drama that has unfolded since January 2016 is an example of a mirage with fatal consequences. To predict that the more than 70 million voters who followed Trump to the end will disappear from the map on January 20 with the inauguration of Biden and Harris shows a blindness to how much America has changed in recent generations.

But what is even more worrying is not the continued existence of the ideology of those who elevated Trump. The mystery is how did that long third of voters occupy an important area?

Numerous observers of the evolution of the American political soul have sounded the alarm in recent months. They wondered about the dangerous transformation of the American political system into an unusual imitation of the fabric that existed in other countries that had fallen into the nets of authoritarianism.

Worse still, they were engulfed by the extreme ideologies that emerged in Europe in the 1930s. It has driven countries with a long cultural tradition to turn into totalitarian dictatorships. These voices applied the comparison of what had happened through Trump’s whims, progressing to policies similar to the practical programs of the Hitler regime since 1933.

In the society of the United States at the beginning of the new century, the existence of broad sectors that felt angular, disappointed and isolated was detected. It was not the traditional enclaves of racial minorities or remnants of European immigrants that did not quite fit into the social and economic structure.

They were, so to speak, ‘full-blooded Americans’. They saw that the American dream began to turn into a hurtful nightmare, from which they could not wake up, despite the fact that they faithfully kept the report card that the system gave to their parents or grandparents.

Wages do not keep pace with rising living costs. Mortgages ate up much of the revenue. If they were inhabitants of rural areas, they felt trapped by invisible borders. If they grew up with a basic education, access to the university was limited by their income or the stratospheric costs of private institutions. An explanation had to be found for this apparent scam.

It was not America that was briefly promised. It was urgently necessary to find the culprits for this fraud. In addition, it was necessary to find new leaders who would not be that hateful and corrupt establishment in Washington.

Suddenly it was orphans from another direction, whose space was occupied by an ‘outsider’, Donald Trump. He came untouched, without the lack of traditional politics. This guaranteed the decontamination of the Washington swamp.

In a fairly educated country, it would really be an achievement to follow the songs of a flutist, which revealed the causes of their misfortune. While Hitler enchanted a cultured people like the troubled Germans between the war, Trump fascinated the Americans with his simple solutions.

In Germany of the 1930s, urban decay was attributed to the alleged occupation of certain businesses by Jews. The solution started with the breaking of shop windows, the ban on certain professions and eventually imprisonment. The German people, trained and disciplined, swallowed the lie without a doubt.

The regime sold the alleged need to expand the area accurately through the call of the Living Space. The simple solution was the Anschluss of Austria, and then the bite in the ethnic German territories in Czechoslovakia. The people cheered, but did not seem satisfied: Poland had to be invaded and then respond to the Anglo-French protest with the powerful Blitzkrieg. The German people cheered, while Hitler triumphantly paraded around the Arc de Triomphe.

When Trump ascended the throne, many Americans drawn to urban areas found that the neat suburbs in the suburbs were infested by the invasion of racial minorities, which had previously been almost undetected. They felt uncomfortable sharing the space with blacks and, what was more hurtful, with Hispanics, who also spoke an incomprehensible language. And most of them were accused of being drug dealers.

The solution of the White House was to close the border with a wall for the invaders. Trump also promised that the Mexicans would pay for it themselves. He continued to divide the families of those who had already entered, making it difficult for them to go to university and to extend their citizenship to the maximum.

The “lifelong Americans” were enchanted. And the Republican Party was pleased with the renewal of its positions in the Senate. Arbitrary measures border on unconstitutionality. But the goal of ‘making America great again’ has become the central watchword.

In the Germany of Hitler’s rise, everything was subordinated at the end of the restoration or invention of the glory of the past, to the chords of a Wagner opera. The lack of questioning of the sovereignty of the Fuhrer guaranteed the fulfillment of the scripture.

Believing that he was the best nation in Europe justified the madness of the invasion of the Soviet Union without realizing that such an operation had caused the downfall of Napoleon. The National Socialist Party guaranteed order and the SS inherited the role of the Brown Shirts to tame the Wehrmacht which engulfed the professional army, which did not digest the 1918 defeat well.

The disaster that began in Stalingrad and culminated in Russian troops hoisting the flag on top of the Reichstag was captured by the Allied bombings that left Dresden and Hamburg in ruins, populated by millions of stray soldiers, while the furnaces were still in death smokes. camps and a million German women of all ages were raped. The sentence was so powerful that only in this way did the Germans learn their lesson and become a model of cooperation in Europe and the world.

But it is unknown how the implementation of the same strategy could have ended if Trump’s wrong plan had followed the same path. Now only the seventy million who voted for him to ‘make America great again’ have remained silent. But the SS in the Republican Senate and the recent infiltrators in the Supreme Court also remain intact. It’s a huge dismay for Biden, without Nuremberg – style trials.
