In response to increasing involvement in civil society across the continent, the African Development Bank Group organizes an annual Civil Society Forum. This year, the Forum will be virtually under the theme Engaging Civil Society to better build back to COVID-19, which is in line with the outcome of the Bank’s annual meetings.
The Civil Society Forum will examine cost-effective strategies and reflect on best practices to enhance the cooperation between the Bank and civil society, and to maximize joint contributions to the COVID-19 response and recovery efforts on the continent.
Special GDP guest: Youssou N’Dour, singer, writer, businessman, former Senegalese Minister of Culture, leader of the Worldwide Afro Network (WAN) initiative against COVID-19.
