Broadcasters in Africa Choose Dramas for Africa for Synchronize

Broadcasters in Africa, including StarTimes and e.tv, have chosen dramas from producer and distributor SynProNize in Dubai. Free-to-air channel e.tv licensed romantic drama series Piya Naam Ka Diya (All for Love), the Afrikaans pay-TV platform StarTimes picked up Swaragini (A Tale of Two Sisters) and Gathbandhan (The Odd Couple) and Onua TV in Ghana acquired Cello .

Commenting on the latest development, SynProNize co-founder Hasnaa Descuns said: “SynProNize is expanding further into Africa and these partnerships are an indication of the good relationships that help us achieve our business.”

On the other hand, Joel Hammond, head of programming for the Onua TV parent company Media General in Ghana, said: ‘SynProNize is a trusted partner in the region and we look forward to a long and fruitful association. Our audience will definitely enjoy this superbly produced drama series. ‘
