As of November 27, the confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached 2121329. The reported deaths in Africa reached 50,944 and the recovery of 1,791,154.
South Africa has the most reported cases – 778 571, with deaths 21,289. Other countries most affected include Morocco (340,684), Egypt (114,475), Ethiopia (107,669), Tunisia (92,475) and Libya (80,407).
The numbers are compiled by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University (world map) uses statistics from the World Health Organization and other international institutions as well as national and regional public health divisions.
