continent exceeds 1.8 million Covid-19 recovery

Cape Town – On 30 November, the confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached 2 163 577. The reported deaths in Africa reached 51,724 and recovered 1,830,891.

South Africa has the most cases – 787 702, with deaths 21 477. Other countries most affected include Morocco (353 803), Egypt (115 541), Ethiopia (109 534), Tunisia (96 251) and Libya (82,430) in.

The numbers are compiled by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University (world map) uses statistics from the World Health Organization and other international institutions as well as national and regional public health divisions.
