The worldwide launch of the Africa Gender Index report is a dialogue with various stakeholders organized by the African Development Bank Group, the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa and UN Women to present the key findings from the report.

Overview

Program

The event will focus on the following areas:

Presentation of the new edition of the Africa Gender Index and its findings.

Dissemination of appropriate policy recommendations to accelerate gender equality.

Overview of the state of gender equality from different dimensions: economic, social and representation.

Multi-stakeholder discussion on the state of gender equality and the sharing of best practices.

This event aims to bring together policymakers, the private sector and civil society, and representatives of international organizations to exchange views on key steps and innovative approaches to be explored to transform the state of gender equality on the continent and to improve.
