This session examines in a critical way the impact of the Covid-19 crisis on the extractive sector in Africa and the measures taken by African countries to make progress in the development of extractive resources, mainly minerals, petrol and gas.
It will focus on the mining sector and its role in supporting the current economic recovery and future growth of the continent.
