Tunisia: Tunisair/Covid-19 – Fresh Measures for Passengers to Austria

Tunis/Tunisia — The national carrier Tunisair said that starting July 1, 2021, all passengers travelling to Austria from Tunisia must present a negative PCR test result conducted 72 hours before departure or a negative antigen test less than 48 hours old or a vaccination certificate.

A vaccination is valid from the 22nd day after the first vaccination for a maximum of 3 months from the date of vaccination, the same source specified.

After the second partial vaccination, the validity is extended by another 6 months. The vaccine is therefore valid for nine months from the date of the first vaccination.

For vaccines that require only one vaccination, it is valid from the 22nd day for nine months from the date of the first vaccination. The same applies to convalescents who have been vaccinated only once.

They are also required to complete the online entry form, which can be downloaded from HTTPS://ENTRY.PTC.GV.AT.

Passengers are requested to observe a ten-day post-entry quarantine, which may be terminated no earlier than the fifth day after entry by a negative molecular biological test (e.g. PCR test) or antigen test for SARS-CoV-2. The day of entry is considered day “zero.”

Tunisair indicated that they are exempted from the quarantine people with a vaccination certificate and minors between 12 and 18 years old who accompany them.
