As of July 2 confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached 5,547,605 while over 34,845,605 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.
Reported deaths in Africa reached 143,740 and 4,834,118 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases 1,995,556 and 61,029 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco (532,150), Tunisia (426,879), Egypt (281,524), Ethiopia (276,250), Libya (193,905) and Kenya (184,537).
