As of August 12, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached 7,119,131 while over 52,001,051 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.
Reported deaths in Africa reached 180,014 and 6,249,763 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases 2,554,240 and 75,774 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco (720,256), Tunisia (618,124), Ethiopia (286,286), Egypt (284,966), Libya (274,453) and Kenya (215,730).
