Cape Town — As of September 28, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached 8,245,763 while over 86,505,912 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.
Reported deaths in Africa reached 209,129 and 7,559,021 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases 2,897,521 and 87,216 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco (929,699), Tunisia (705,474), Ethiopia (342,305), Libya (337,890), Egypt (301,625) and Kenya (248,515).
