Harare — As of June 20, 2022, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached 11,819,858 while 314,903,272 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.
Reported deaths in Africa reached 254,532 and 9,953,023 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases of 3,986,601 and 101,604 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco ( 1,185,990 ) , Tunisia ( 1,044,426 ), Egypt ( 515,645 ), Libya ( 502,076 ), Ethiopia ( 484,138 ), and Kenya ( 329,353 ).
