Africa: Covid-19 Infections Rise as Vaccinations, Death Rate Remain Steady

As of July 27, 2022, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached  12,073,092 while  353,455,779 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.

Reported deaths in Africa reached  255,797  and  10,126,742 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases of 4,003,502 and  101,962 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco (  1,258,761 ) , Tunisia (  1,128,693 ), Egypt (  515,645 ), Libya (  503,611 ),  Ethiopia (  491,917  ), and Kenya (  337,389 ).
