As of June 25, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached 5,314,835 while over 32,500,561 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.
Reported deaths in Africa reached 139,639 and 4,682,338 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases – 1,877,143 – and 59,406 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco (528,180), Tunisia (395,362), Egypt (279,184), Ethiopia (275,601), Libya (191,660) and Kenya (181,239).
