As of July 4 confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached 5,634,601 while over 35,094,444 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.
Reported deaths in Africa reached 144,919 and 4,892,622 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases 2,046,311 and 61,507 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco (533,945), Tunisia (438,945), Egypt (281,903), Ethiopia (276,368), Libya (195,042) and Kenya (185,591).
