Tunis/Tunisia — 78 undocumented migrants of foreign nationalities had been rescued by the Sfax coast guard units, spokesman for the National Guard Houssemeddine Jebabli said on Monday.
They also recovered the bodies of 49 others. Their boats capsized between June 26 and July 4, Jebali stated to TAP.
About 135 individuals of various African nationalities had been arrested during these interventions conducted by the national guards at sea, the same source said.
