Tunis/Tunisia — Two COVID-19 deaths were initially logged on December 29, the Health Ministry said on Friday, in addition to 1,162 infections from 11,039 tests (a 10.53% positivity rate).
The caseload reached 725,842, while the death toll hit 25,564. The number of recoveries rose by 194 to 696,187.
Twenty-two new hospitalisations in public and private healthcare facilities brought the total to 271. This includes 70 patients in intensive care and 11 under life support.
