Africa: Confirmed Covid-19 Cases Climb to More than 11.4 Million Across Continent

As of April 4, 2022, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached 11,422,130 while over  270,321,505 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.

Reported deaths in Africa reached  251,976 and  9,602,216 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases of  3,722,954 and  100,050 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco (  1,163,526 ) , Tunisia (  1,035,884  ), Egypt (  505,264 ), Libya (  501,738 ),  Ethiopia (  469,819  ), and Kenya (  323,454 ).
